On August 23, at 09.25 an emergency call was received that a car accident had occurred at the beginning of Nerkin Getashen village, Gegharkunik Province: there was a casualty and the rescuers’ help was needed.

A fire brigade left for the scene.

It turned out that on the 7^th km of Martuni-Sevan roadway “ZIL-130” with license plate 34 TV 957 and “VAZ-2121” with license plate 34 VM 063 had collided. The driver of “VAZ-2121” was blocked in the car.

The rescuers took the casualty out of the car and removed him to ambulance car. The driver was hospitalized to the medical center of Martuni town. According to doctors the casualty was in fair condition.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
