RTA in Alaverdi Town

On June 13, at 09:17 information was received that a car accident had occurred near the petrol station in Baghramyan block, Alaverdi town, Lori Province. There were casualties and the rescuers’ help was needed.
A fire brigade left for the scene.
It turned out that near Yerevanyan highway 18 “VAZ-2107” with license plate 10 OS 763 had run off the roadway and rolling (about 5 m) into a canyon, appeared near the railway: the driver was blocked inside the car.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the driver had been taken out of the car by local forces. The rescuers removed the driver to ambulance car. The casualty was hospitalized to the medical center of Alaverdi town. According to doctors the casualty was in serious condition.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
