Firefighters extinguished fires broken out in grasslands with a total area of about 27.5 hectares

On October 9, 22 emergency calls were received to Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of MES about fires broken out in various areas of the Republic of Armenia covering 200 square meters and more.

Particularly,

in Yerevan (Nork-Marash administrative district: 500 m2, Nubarashen administrative district: 3000 m2, 1 ha, Ajapnyak administrative district: 3000 m2, Davtashen administrative district: 200 m2, Malatia-Sebastia administrative district: 3000 m2, Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district: 1400 m2),

in Ararat town (2000 m2), in Kaghtsrashen (2500 m2) and in Ayntap (6000 mof wheat field) villages, on Norabats-Masis roadway (4000 m2) of Ararat Province,

in Merdzavan village (3000 m2) of Armavir Province,

in Spitak town (1000 m2), in Tsakhkaber village (20 ha), on Vanadzor-Spitak roadway (1000 m2) of Lori Province, 

in Abovyan town (2000 m2) and in Zovuni village (1000 m2) of Kotayk Province,

in Gyumri town (2000 m2) of Shirak Province,

in Meghri town (1500 m2), in Vardanidzor village (500 m2) of Syunik Province,

in Vayk town (2 ha) of Vayots dzor Province,

and on Echmiatsin-Ashtarak roadway (3000 m2).

The firefighters localized and extinguished the fires.
