RTA on Tsovagyugh-Shorzha roadway: there were casualties

On July 25, at 23:31 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that car accident had occurred on the first kilometer of Tsovagyugh-Shorja roadway: a car rolled into a gorge, there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mercedes C500” car (driver Artur G. born in 1987) ran off the roadway and rolled into a gorge for about 50 meters on the fifteenth kilometer of Tsovagyugh-Shorja roadway.

The rescuers brought the driver out of the car and approached to the ambulance. The driver and passenger Kristine M. (born in 2000) were hospitalized to the medical center of Sevan town, where the doctors assessed the health condition of the driver as serious but stable and the passenger as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
