RTA on Meghri-Yerevan roadway

On December 25, at 18։30 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on the 27th km of Kajaran-Meghri roadway: the car overturned into a gorge ad there were two casualties.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “BMW” car (driver R. A. A. R. born in 1982, the citizen of IRI) ran off the roadway and rolled over about 4 meters into a gorge.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the driver and the passenger S. Gh. (born in 1953) had been gotten out of the car by themselves.
The rescuers pulled the casualties out of the gorge and moved to the ambulance: the latter were hospitalized to the medical center in Meghri town, where the doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.
