On January 5, at 09:41 the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA left for the scene to restart the friegighting activities in Artavaz village on the mountain near Marmarik water reservoir.

The fire was extinguished at 13:42. About 12 ha of grassland was burnt, of which 2500 square meters in the forest.

The employees of "Hrazdan Forestry" branch of "Hayantar" SNCO implemented patrolling.

It should be recalled that on January 4, at 14։16 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire in Artavaz village on the mountain near Marmarik water reservoir.

Two fire units and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 19:41. According to the data, 12 ha of grassland was burning, of which 2500 square meters in the forest.

By 20:32 the firefighting activities were temporarily stopped: patrolling was implemented.

37 rescuers, 14 employees of "Hrazdan Forestry" branch of "Hayantar" SNCO and 10 employees of "RARE" water factory participated in the firefighting activities.
