Accreditation of mass medias

On the Accreditation of the Journalists in the Staff of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration 

The accreditation of the journalists in the staff of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration is implemented by the RA Law on “mass media”, according to the “model order of accreditation of the journalists in RA state governing bodies” approved by N 333 – N decision of RA Government.

For accreditation it is necessary to present a written application (by the name of the head of the division of public relations) with the following points;

  1. full name of the legal entity carrying out journalistic activity, organizational and legal form, location. And if the performer of journalistic activity is a physical person – surname, name, father’s name (if father’s name is indicated in the passport) and abiding (the address).
  2. Surname, name, father’s name (if father’s name is indicated in the passport)of the journalist applying for accreditation
  3. E-mail, address, contacts of the journalist and performer of a journalistic activity.

Accreditation period is one year. If shorter period is indicated in the application of the performer of journalistic activity, accreditation is provided by the indicated period.

For accreditation are subjected no more than two journalists or press operator or two audio-video operators presenting each mass media.

For accreditation, the representative journalists operating on the basis of foreign state legislation should also present the photo copy of the certificate given by RA Ministry of Foreign Affaires attached to the application.

For accreditation the representative journalists operating on the basis of foreign state legislation, RA accreditation is not required if the representation of the performer of journalistic activities, by means of which the application was presented, operates in the territory of the RA as defined by order.
