Session of the Coordinating Council for Emergency Situations of the CSTO Member States was Held

On October 10 the 12th regular session of the Coordinating Council for Emergency Situations of the CSTO Member States was held at the State Residence of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic by Mirzahmedov Nurbolot Sabirzhanovich, Minister of Emergency Situations of KR.

Feliks Tsolakyan, Minister of Emergency Situations also participated in the session.

In the session considered the issues of expanding the cooperation of the CSTO with international organizations in order to use the potential in the provision of assistance in case of emergency situations, the activities of the coordinating Council for 2019, the Plan of joint activities for 2020, as well as summed up the results of staff training aimed at improving the interaction between the departments, held in the mode of videoconference in March this year under the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, the agenda included the issues associated with preparation of the departments of authorized bodies in the field of prevention and elimination of CSTO Member States, granting status to base units and a culture of ensuring life safety, increasing cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of new generation education.

The members of the Coordinating Council for Emergency Situations of the CSTO Member States, Deputy Heads of Departments of Emergency Situations of the Member States, as well as Valery Semerikov, Acting CSTO Secretary General and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

CSTO Member States competent authorities in the field of emergency situations actively cooperate in the framework of the Coordinating Council for Emergency Situations especially in alarm and evacuation issues in case of emergency situations.
