Earthquake hits 34 km North-West from Tirana city of the Republic of Albania

On November 26, at 06:54 local time (at 02:54 by GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude of 41.450 and eastern longitude of 19.440 geographic coordinates (34 km north-west from Tirana city, Albania, Adriatic sea) with 6.4 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 9-10 at the epicenter area.

As a result of the earthquake there were destructions and more than 100 casualties.

According to the "RIA Novosti" news agency, as a result of the earthquake there were destructions and 13 people have died and 600 injured.
