Ministry of Emergency Situations

On October 14, First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of RA Artyush Grigoryan paid a working visit to the Municipality of Stepanavan.

The meeting was attended by Hamlet Matevosyan, Rector of the Crisis Management State Academy of ES of RA, Serob Gabrielyan, Head of the Regional Rescue Department, Armen Araqelyan, Director of “Lore” rescue squad, and Arpine Davoyan, Deputy at the National Asssembly.

Deputy Minister of ES emphasized the importance of the municipality’s willingness to foster the educational process of the Crisis Management State Academy.

In his turn, Armen Grigoryan, Head of the community of Stepanavan, emphasized the importance of the presence of both, the Academy and the Rescue Service in the town of Stepanavan and assured that the municipality will always support as much as possible the implementation of the important mission of this educational institution.

Head of the community also emphasized the importance of the contribution of Armen Araqelyan, a significant rescuer, in the establishment of the Academy’s branch.
