National center of Technical Safety of MES presented offers to the Inter-State Council on Industrial Safety

The 20th session of the Inter-State Council on Industrial Safety was held. Representatives from all CIS member countries participated.

The purpose of the Council’s session is to regulate the legislative framework for safety insurance of hazardous industrial objects in CIS member states, to implement a united policy, jointly develop and define safety requirements in accordance with international norms, introduce new technologies, apply preventive measures to reduce man-made disasters, industrial accidents and incidents.

Vardan Gevorgyan, Director of the “National center of Technical Safety” SNCO of the Ministry of Emergency Situations presented the activities implemented from January, 2022 till now. The regulations of the suggestions on the reforms of the technical safety field, which were approved earlier by the Government of RA, were discussed.

Director of the SNCO added that the technical safety rules for the safe operation of the elevators, storage and utilization of fire industrial products are currently being developed.

The session of the Inter-State Council on Industrial Safety takes place annually, this year the chairing country is Kazakhstan.
