Earthquake hits Armenia-Turkey border zone

On October 29 at 14:39 local time (at 10:39 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 40.06⁰ and eastern longitude 44.14⁰ geographic coordinates (Armenia-Turkey border zone,14 km southeast from the city of Armavir), with 2.5 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 3 points at the epicenter area.

The earthquake was felt in the villages of Vardanashen, Margara and Nalbandyan in Armavir Province with 2-3 points intensity.
