Earthquake hit 14 km northeast from the village of Bavra

On July 11, at 17:54 local time (at 13:54 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 41.18⁰ and eastern longitude 43.95⁰ geographic coordinates (Georgia-Armenia border zone, 14 km northeast from the village of Bavra), with 2.8 magnitude and 10 km depth.
The tremor measured magnitude 3-4 points at the epicenter area.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh and Tavshut in Shirak Province with 3 points intensity.
