The territory of the Republic continues to be under the influence of tropical hot air flow from the regions of the Arabian Peninsula. In the daytime hours of July 19-20 the air temperature may reach up to +39…+41 in Ararat valley, in the foothills of Aragatsotn, Vayots Dzor Provinces and Yerevan city.

A high fire hazard situation is also expected in the valleys and foothill areas of the Republic. The intensity of ultraviolet radiation is expected to be higher than normal. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight from 11:00 to 17:00.

In the Republic

In the daytime of July 19, on 20 no precipitation is predicted. On July 21-24 in northern regions short-term rain with thunderstorm is possible.

South-west wind speed is 2-5 m/s. In the evening in the foothills of Armavir, Aragatsotn and Kotayk provinces the wind speed may reach up to 13-16 m/s.

The air temperature on July 22-23 will gradually go down by 4-5 degrees.

In Yerevan

In the daytime of July 19, on 20-24 no precipitation is predicted. In the evening the wind speed may reach up to 13-16 m/s.
